About Us
Laredo First Assembly is a welcoming, community church dedicated to discovering love and developing lives. We focus on fostering relationships with God and others, helping individuals find their purpose within the church community, inspired by Jesus' teachings to love God wholeheartedly.
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. This Statement of Fundamental Truths from the Assemblies of God is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us. The phraseology employed in this Statement is not inspired nor contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it covers all Biblical truth, only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines.

We feel that Jesus captured the essence of the church when He said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' That is the heartbeat of everything we do here at LFA.
